WHAT EXACTLY IS NATA?
NATA assesses an applicant's aptitude for a specific field of study, such as architecture, by assessing cognitive skills, visual perception and aesthetic sensitivity tests, logical reasoning and critical thinking ability, and so on, in addition to the learning that the candidate has acquired over the past few years that is related to the specific field of study.
ELIGIBILITY
Candidates who have passed or are appearing in 10+2 with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths and also 50% marks in aggregate or passed/are appearing in 10+3 Diploma exam with Maths as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate are eligible for NATA Edit. A 5% relaxation in marks is provided for SC/ST, OBC-NCL, and PwD categories in 10+2 level/10+3 diploma level, as well as in PCM.

EXAMINING PROCEDURE
The Council of Architecture conducts the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) at the national level for admission to the 5 year B.Arch Degree Course at all recognised institutions across India.
NATA scores are used by admissions officers at various government, government-aided, and unaided architecture schools and colleges.
The test assesses drawing and observation abilities, proportion sense, aesthetic sensitivity, and critical thinking ability.
The exam is divided into two parts: a paper-based drawing test and an online test with multiple-choice questions on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and General Aptitude Test.
