You cannot get direct admission to NIFT without first passing the entrance exam, as admission is solely based on merit scores obtained in the entrance exam. Therefore, direct admission to NIFT is not possible. NIFT has its own entrance exam, which students must pass in order to be admitted.
If you want to get admission into NIFT, you must take the exam in the appropriate manner and with proper preparation. Following the written test, qualified candidates will be notified to attend a GD/PI round, while design students will have to appear for a situation test.
