Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Designer to join our team and help us design the next generation of IoT smart switches and products with a focus on user experience and easy Human Machine Interface (HMI). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial design and a passion for creating innovative and user-friendly products.

Education

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Qualification

• Strong portfolio of product designs that demonstrate an understanding of form, function, and user experience
• Proficiency in 3D modelling software such as SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box
• Experience in user research and testing is a must
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for technology and innovation

Roles & Responsibilities

• Work with our product development team to design IoT smart switches and products that are both functional and visually appealing with a focus on HMI and user experience.
• Create 3D models, sketches, and renderings of product designs, ensuring that the products are intuitive and easy to use for the end users.
• Conduct user research and testing to ensure that products are intuitive and easy to use, gathering feedback from users and iterating on the designs accordingly.
• Collaborate with engineers and other designers to ensure that products are functional, feasible to manufacture and user-friendly.
• Participate in product launch and marketing activities, creating user-centred documentation, and other materials to support the product launch.
• Continuously researching new materials, technologies and trends to improve the designs and user experience
