There are two parts—A and B—to the UCEED exam. The UCEED Part-A is a written test that is taken online. An offline drawing test is part of the UCEED Part-B. Only those applicants are evaluated for Part-B of the exam who pass Part-A. There are 240 points assigned to Part A and 60 points to Part B.
In Part-A of the UCEED test, questions are asked on the following subjects:
spatial awareness and visualisation
Sensitivity to Observation and Design
Social and Environmental Awareness
Analysis and Logical Thought
Communication and creativity
Problem-solving and Design Thinking
A drawing question on the UCEED Part-B curriculum will gauge a candidate's aptitude for proportionately depicting objects, people, or scenes using good line quality, composition, proportion, perspective, and shading.
