Hi Mahika! IIAD 2023 application process have been started. The date for the 1st session exam is on 28th December 2022. The exam will be both in offline and online mode. The IIAD 2023 exam will be held at the following centres: New Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore.

WHAT IS IIAD? 

The Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD) is the prestigious design school situated in New Delhi, know for their design and communication courses. IIAD New Delhi was named the "Best Communication Design College in India by Asia Today” at the Asian Education Summit and Awards 2021. The courses IIAD offers such as Fashion Designing, Communication Designing, Interior Architecture and Designing, Fashion Business Management, Fashion Communication, etc.

Eligibility criteria-

• For Under graduation courses, candidates must pass their 10+2 examination in any relevant stream from any recognized board with aggregate 50% marks. 
• For post graduation courses, candidates must pass their graduation degree in any relevant stream from any recognized university. 

Selection process

Candidates must pass the entrance examination which is being conducted by IIAD themselves. Entrance exams are the only way to get chance in IIAD. Entrance exams such as IDAT, IMAT, personal interview, studio stimulation. the main selection process is depends on the score in IIAD entrance. 

Some important dates

• Application process for IIAD 2023 has been started from 17th September 2022
• Application process for IIAD 2023 is going to end on 21st December 2022
• IIAD admit card date is yet to come, keep eye on the website. After the end of application process, they will release the admit card date notice. 
• IIAD 2023 entrance session 1 exam will be on 28th December 2022.

How to apply 

Here are the steps, how you can apply for IIAD entrance examination-

Step1. Go to the official website of IIAD and select the admission portal. Register yourself making your own unique email ID and password. For this you must need the following details:

• Name
• State
• City
• Contact Number
• Email ID
• Password

Step2. Log in to the site with your Email ID and password, and you will get to see the admission form. You can fill up admission form both in offline and online mode. To fill up the admission form you must need the following details:

• Personal details- name, parents’ names, date of birth, nationality, address, etc.
• Educational details- percentage scored and subjects studied in the last qualifying exam.
• Passport size Photograph and signature. 

Step3. Write a clear statement of purpose why you want to study your preferred course at IIAD and attached it with the form. 

Step4. The next and final step is to pay the application fee whish is Rs. 2500/-. You can pay it both through offline and online. If you want to pay it by online mode you will get options like- credit card/ debit card/ net banking. If you want to pay it off through offline mode you have to pay it through DD in favour of Teamwork Education Foundation, payable in New Delhi. 

Step5. Submit the form. If online, you have to submit it via http://apply@iiad.edu . If offline you have to send it to following address:

Step6. Once successfully the form is being submitted, download and take out a print out of it.
