Hey! To be very honest with you, the right time for preparing for UCEED only begins once you've completely made your mind that you wish to crack this exam and pursue Bachelor of Designs. Generally, in class 11, 12 or even after completing 12th; students start to plan their next step as to what course they wish to pursue. UCEED is one such national entrance exam that through which you can get admitted IIT's and certain other colleges that accept the UCEED score for pursuing B.des.
As for the right time, as I mentioned earlier completely depends on the moment and the time frame you are in. According to my assumption we can draw out 3 conclusions:
1.) If you're in 11th standard and you are serious about this exam, then beginning preperations early would provide you an edge over others and will give you ample time to practice and learn.
2.) Secondly, even if you're in 12th standard, you will still have an year left for preperation.
3.) Thirdly, if it's after 12 then too begin as soon as possible.
So, the correct time of beginning the preperation entirely changes from person to person.
