FDDI stands for Footwear Design & Development Institute is a design Institute which offers professional programmes in Footwear Design , Leather Goods & Accessory Design , Fashion Design , and Retail & Fashion Merchandise. FDDI have total 12 campuses all over India. FDDI conducts a national level entrance examination All India Selection Test (AIST) to offer admission to interested candidates. The examination is known as FDDI AIST.

FDDI is a 2 and half hour's pen and paper based examination. The exam is of 200 marks which consist 150 questions and the medium of exam is in English.
SectionA- Quantitative aptitude which will consist 25 questions and each are of 2 marks.
SectionB- verbal ability which conclude comprehension and grammar usage. Comprehension will consist 10 questions each with 2 marks and grammar portion will consist 30 questions, each of 1 marks.
SectionC- general awareness will consist 50 questions each of 1 marks.
SectionD- business aptitude test will have 15 questions each of 2 marks and 20 questions each of 1 marks.
