WHAT IS B. ARCH? 

B. Arch or you can say bachelor in architecture course which is an under graduation course. The duration of this course is 5 years. Various colleges that offer architecture course, take admission through various entrance exams. There are numbers of entrance exam for Architecture course. But in between them 2 exams are mainly popular.

What kind of education you need to get into B. Arch colleges? 

The basic education you must need is-

• Candidates need to pass their 10+2 examination or 12th examination with mandatory subjects Physics, chemistry and mathematics from any recognised board with minimum 50% score. 
• Candidates can also complete their 10+3 degree from any recognised board but they need to have the subject mathematics.

Qualifying entrance exam-

Candidates need to qualify all India national level entrance examination conducted for Architecture course. There are several national level examination for the candidates who are willing to study B. Arch from top notch colleges.

Such are- NATA, JEE mains paper 2 and many more. But these two is widely accepted in amy colleges. 

• NATA-

National Aptitude Test In Architecture is a national level entrance exam conducted by council of architecture for admission to 5 years B. arch degree course at various institutions in India. There is no age eligibility criteria for NATA mentioned by CoA in particular.

• JEE- MAIN PAPER2-

Joint Entrance Exam – Main is an national level all India exam conducted by  NTA to take admission of the candidates who are willing to pursue architecture must go for IIT JEE mains paper 2. There are also no age limit to sit for JEE- MAIN.

To get admission in top notch colleges, candidates have to apply for one of these exam on the basis of what their preferred college will accept. Candidates have to qualify for the exam and have to get above cut off marks.
