UCEED lasts for three hours. Candidates need to actually try 69 questions in this time frame. One question comes up in Part B of the UCEED exam, which candidates must complete in 30 minutes, and 68 questions will be asked in Part A of the exam, which candidates must attempt in 2:30 hours.

Together with the UCEED notice, IIT Bombay has also announced the test format for the UCEED in 2022. The UCEED question paper includes all information pertaining to the composition of the question paper, including the number of questions, the total amount of points, and the marking scheme.

The UCEED test included 85 questions on it up to 2019. But starting with UCEED 2020, IIT Bombay modified the test format, requiring candidates to complete 69 questions in three hours. Candidates for this national-level design admissions test are scored out of 300.

The UCEED exam is split into two halves, A and B. UCEED Three portions make up Part A, which is administered as a computer-based test. Aspirants must answer the question in the examination at whatever point required provided by the examiner for Part B of the exam, which is projected on a computer screen. One drawing question appears in the UCEED Part B examination. English is the language of instructions for the exam.
