Hi, The Syllabus for NIFT Entrance is:

Candidates for the B.Des and M.Des programs are also judged on their aptitude for design and creativity. The five parts of the NIFT Syllabus are Quantitative Ability, Communication Ability, English Comprehension, Analytical Ability, General Knowledge, and Current Affairs.

NIFT GAT  - General Aptitude Test

Quantitative Ability - Addition, Multiplication, Division, Fractions, Percentage, Rate of Interest, Work and Task, Ratio and Proportion and Distance. 
Communicative Ability - The candidate's language abilities are evaluated along with how well they are used in regular English communication. Synonyms, antonyms, words with corresponding meanings, singular, plural, one-word substitutes, idioms and phrases, spelling correction, and other topics are covered in the questions in this section.
English Comprehension - The candidate's reading and comprehension skills are evaluated in the context of an unseen passage. Basic English language proficiency is evaluated in this section using questions based on the passage.
Analytical Ability - This section is intended to evaluate a candidate's capacity of inferring and applying reasoning from information given. Questions from the logical reasoning section, in which applicants must develop logical inferences from issues requiring analytical reasoning, are included in this section.
Current Events and General Knowledge - In this section questions are taken from the general knowledge and current events categories.

NIFT CAT - Creative Ability Test
The test was specially created to evaluate and judge a candidate's intuitive ability, strength in observation, capacity to form concepts, and aptitude for design. This test's primary objective is to gauge each candidate's aptitude for using color and imagery in original and creative ways. Candidates must sharpen their drawing abilities and exercise creativity to develop original concepts using color.


NIFT Situation Test
This "hands-on" test assesses the candidate's aptitude for handling materials as well as their capacity for original thought on a predetermined set of items. Candidates must construct a model out of the materials provided for this test, which assesses their level of creativity.

NIFT Personal Interview
In this round, there is nothing much to explain as you must have guessed it. This round will comprise questions that will evaluate the aspirant's Career Inclination, Appropriateness in the field, Personal achievements in academics, and co-curricular activities, Verbal and communication skills, General awareness, Creative aptitude, and lateral thought process.
