The National Institution of Design conducts the NID Design Aptitude Test (DAT) to supply admission to BDes and MDes programs at NID campuses. NID DAT consists of two tests - prelims and main exams.

Candidates who clear all the NID DAT determination standards rounds will be frequent to NID's B.Des.
Once it comes to education for NID DAT then a candidate will enhance their skills in sketching and drawing. Candidates will proceed to fine-tune these capabilities when they practice for the NID DAT test.
