If you are from NIFT the highest package could be anything around 15 lakhs p.a. depending on the course, department, profile of the employee, and the company itself.
The high package is dependent on another factor; like if you happen a part of the student exchange program, and maintain good academic scores throughout your course.
Now if we talk about the lowest package, we do not tend to hear much about it as candidates do not take those offers usually. It is heard that the lowest package is as low as 2 lakhs p.a., but in these cases, students go for masters or opt for off-campus placements.
The average salary package floats around 3.6 to 5 lakhs p.a. This is also dependent on the course, profile, and the company.
Therefore, even if we talk about the highest, average, and lowest salary packages at NIFT, it will completely depend on various factors as well as your performance, skills, and ability to outperform the rest, prove your worth, and get the highest salary, then you do not have to bother about the average and lower salaries.
Here, I also may add to keep you motivated, that say for example even if you could not get the highest package in the placement, but if the company is good, with employee benefits, and regular appraisal schemes, then with hard and smart work, and skill development you will surely rise and get the higher package figure being offered at the time of the placement.
