The full form of CEED is common entrance examination for design.
IIT Bombay conducts CEED national level entrance which stands for common entrance examination for design to take admission to the M. Des and PhD courses offered by IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee and IIITDM Jabalpur. Also, the PhD course is available at several IITs and design schools.
CEED has two parts – part A and part B.
Part A which will be held online and include objective-type questions, as NAT, MCQ. MSQ. It’s a 100 marks paper which will conduct for 1 hour
Part B. will held in offline mode, to test the design, drawing, and writing skills of the candidate. It’s a 100 marks paper which will conduct for 2 hours.
Candidates must check the CEED syllabus before starting preparation. The entire CEED syllabus is divided into part A and Part B.
CEED 2023 will be held around the last week of January 2023 in 24 cities across the country. Candidates can start applying for CEED 2023 starting from October 5, 2022 to November 11, 2022. CEED 2023 Registration fee for general candidates are 3200 and for ST/SC /PwD/ Female are 1600.
