ABOUT CEED

Common entrance examination for design or popularly known as CEED is a national level entrance examination for candidates who wants to pursue Masters in design from top notch colleges and institutions. CEED is conducted by IIT Bombay to test ability to draw and sketch, logical reasoning along with creative sight of the candidates. 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CEED

  • Candidates must complete their degree or diploma or PG Degree programme of minimum 3 Years or must be appearing for the final examination of such program. 
  • Candidates must have passed the GD Arts diploma programme (10+5 level). 
  • CEED has no age limit. 

ABOUT B. FTECH COURSE

B. FTech stands for Bachelor in Fashion Technology is a 4-year under graduation specialisation course that deals with the various technical aspects related with Apparel-designing sector. Through this course will teach about apparel manufacturing processes, quality control, management and the applications of information technology and artificial intelligence which will require for apparel-manufacturing sectors. 
The average fee to pursue B. FTech Course starts from approximately INR 40,000 to INR 2,70,000. B. FTech is a 4 months course which includes eight semesters, with the program for both theoretical and practical aspects of learning. 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA TO STUDY B. FTECH-

Candidates who are willing to study B. FTech, must check out the eligibility criteria first. Such criteria are given below-

  • Candidates must score at least 50% in their 12th standard from any recognized board, which must include subjects such as physics, chemistry and maths. 
  • Admission to most of the B.FTech programs in the country are done on the basis of NIFT entrance examination. The General Ability Test (GAT) to take admission to B. FTech which is conducted by NIFT at the national level. GAT is to test the general aptitude of the candidates for the program. 
  • The candidates will be offered for the admission to the colleges to study B. FTech will be basis on the NIFT GAT score and rank. 
  • There are some other institutions which take admission on the basis of the candidate's score of their 12th standard. To it is also important to score above cutoff in 12th, to get admission in the preferred college.
