The Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI) is a Nationally Significant Institution based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The Institute was founded in the 1960s and continues to thrive in the field of National Importance. It teaches applicants about footwear development and design. The Institute offers a variety of courses at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
The Institute received the National Importance designation in 2017 when the parliament passed legislation to that effect. The FDDI administers the exam once a year.
