Looking for admission to NIFT? Every year, the National Institute of Fashion Technology holds a three-phased entrance exam for various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. After passing the NIFT Written Entrance Exam, candidates must take a Situation Test.

Only B. Des courses have a situation test to assess candidates' ability to handle various materials and use their creative skills to create a model in a given situation using a set of materials. The model will be judged on a variety of factors, including innovative and creative use of a given material, space visualization, construction skill, model finesse, the composition of elements, colour scheme, the overall presentation of the model, and so on.
