CEED stands for Common Entrance Exam for Design. This is a qualifying exam conducted by IIT Bombay for taking admission to the M. Des and PhD courses offered by participating institutes.
The M.Des program is available at IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee and IIITDM Jabalpur. Meanwhile, the PhD course is available at several IITs and design schools.
Step1. Candidates must register themselves with their name, phone number, email ID, date of birth, gender address after opening the official portal of CEED.
Step2. Candidates have to login to the site with email address and password.
Step3. Candidates will get to see the eligibility checklist of CEED. Its important to check the eligibility criteria very carefully before applying.
Step4. In that same window page, candidates have to give details about qualifying exam, passing year and mobile number. Fill it up. It’s the mobile verification, click on that and move to the next step.
Step5. Then candidates have to fill in their personal, correspondence, and educational qualification. And also have to select between THREE exam centres in accordance of candidate's choice.
Step6. In next page candidates have to upload scanned copies of their photograph, signature, educational, and category certificates as per required size.
Step7. To complete the form fill up, candidates must pay the application fees through, credit card, debit card or UPI.
All women candidates- ₹1,600
SC/ST/PwD candidates- ₹1,600
All other candidates- ₹3,200
The application for CEED 2023 May going to be release in 2nd week of September 2022.
