Hello,

To be considered for admission to the B. Des programs at the participating institutes, namely IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IIITDM Jabalpur, a candidate must meet ALL three of the following criteria at the same time.

Criteria 1 – Age Limit: For the OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL category, the candidate must have been born on or after October 1, 1997, and for the SC, ST, or PwD category, the candidate must have been born on or after October 1, 1992.

Criteria 2 – UCEED qualification: The candidate must have qualified in UCEED 2022, i.e. received a rank.

Criteria 3 – Qualifying examination: The candidate must have passed all five subjects in the qualifying examination (Class XII or equivalent). Those who took their qualifying test for the first time in 2020 or earlier are not eligible. For future reference refer to the link.

Hi,
If we calculate the age limit for the UCEED exam it comes to around 25 years(General Candidate).
For example, if you are applying for the UCEED, then you should have be below 25 years.

If belonging to the OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL category. The age limit relaxation for reserved candidates in the UCEED Exam is 5 years.
For example, if you are applying for the UCEED 2023, then you should be born on or after October 1, 1993, if belonging to the SC, ST or PwD category.
