Educational Qualification


The candidates who have already performed their 10 + 2 (Higher Secondary) from AISSCE / IB / ICSE or any recognized board during the tutorial year will be eligible to apply for the NID entrance exam.

The candidates performing for their 10 + 2 (higher secondary) are additionally eligible to apply for this examination.

Some of the examinations that are regarded equal to class 12 are as follows:

  • The central or national board identified via the Association of Indian Universities conducts a final examination of the 10 + 2 system.
  • A board or college diagnosed via the Association of Indian Universities conducts an Intermediate or 2-year Pre-University examination.
  • Last year's examination of the 2-year course at the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy (NDA).
  • The National Institute of Open Schooling conducts senior secondary college examinations with at least 5 subjects.
  • An examination carried out via any public school, board, or college in India or a foreign country, that is diagnosed as equal to the 10 + 2 system by the AIU.
  • H.S.C. vocational examination.
  • The advanced (A) degree of the familiar certificates training (GCE) examination (London, Cambridge, or Sri Lanka)
  • Cambridge University conducts an excessive school certificates examination or International Baccalaureate Diploma at the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
  • The candidates, who have achieved their 10 + two or equivalent examination from outside India or from a board or college that is not exactly in the above list, must compulsorily post a certificate from the Association of Indian Universities in this regard.
