The required age of candidate who are willing to sit for Jindal entrance examination, must not exceed 30 years. 

About Jindal design exam

Jindal School of Art and Architecture (JSAA) is a premium architecture school in India. They provide designing courses such as interior design and also community and urban Development. Jindal School of Art and Architecture conduct  Jindal Creative Aptitude Test (JCAT) to take admission in their provided courses. 

Eligibility of get admission at Jindal

Before applying for any college, candidates must check that college’s eligibility criteria first. For JCAT, candidate's eligibility criteria are-

  • Candidates must have successfully completed their 12th standard from CBSE, ISC, State Boards, IB, Cambridge, and any other Government Recognized Boards.
  • Candidates who are completing grade 12th in 2022 can also apply.
  • Candidates must not exceed 30 years. 
  • Candidates have to crack JCAT. 

Admission to Jindal

Admission to the Jindal School of Art and Architecture (JSAA) is conducted through a competitive process over three rounds. 

  1. The application process- it is basically the personal statement and supplemental information
  2. Jindal Creative Aptitude Test (the entrance exam)
  3. An interview round which includes a portfolio review.

Only candidates who will clear rounds 1 and 2, will receive the invitation to appear in 3rd round means Interview and portfolio review round. 

JCAT pattern

Jindal Creative Aptitude Test (JCAT) is an online home proctored qualifying examination of long 2-hours and total 100 marks, divided into four section. each section will take 30 mins, and there will be no negative marking. This exam will analyse thinking and reading of visuals and texts. It will examine candidate’s knowledge about the building environment through objective and subjective questions.

PART A

4 sections:

Section1- Verbal & Quantitative
Section2- Visual Reasoning 
Section3- Making & Materiality
Section4- Verbal Ability English

PART B

Candidates who will qualify part A with 50% marks are eligible to sit for part B. part B will consist portfolio and interview, which will be of 100 marks. 

You just have to register yourself to the Jindal School’s official website and fill up the form paying 600 registration fees. Get yourself prepare for JCAT if you think yourself as eligible.
