Along with the National Institute of Fashion Designs (NIFT), the National Institute of Design (NID) is one of the leading design colleges in India. The NIFT focuses on fashion-related design, while the NID teaches other disciplines within the framework of design studies Therefore, the NID admission demand is too high and without proper guidance, getting into this group can be difficult. 
 Registration details

 The NID registration record is as follows:

  •  Visit http://admissions.nid.edu and register
  • Fill in the online structure with the required details; click "Save and Save" to continue"
  • Upload  required documents
  • Choose a free alternative and pay
  • Save the software form amount and print the form
  • Send  draft requirements to specified platforms (if using draft requirements)
  • JNV request form

 The NID Admissions Software form for the school year is available at http://admissions.nid.edu beginning the 4th week of September. The remaining date for submitting software types online is the last week of October Window to modify the JNV form: 2nd the week of November For print applications, the final receipt date for submissions is  3rd week of December Examination date: 1st the week of January Results will be announced (tentatively 3rd week of February) The results of the NID DAT  will be announced on the official website Upload required documents


Students are required to complete the following when completing the NID Admission Form:

  • Photo scanned in JPG/JPEG structure, size is less than 100KB
  • Scanned copy of signature in JPG/JPEG format, less than 100 KB in size
  • Caste certificate or OBC-NCL  in JPG/JPEG format and less than 150 KB in size (as applicable)
  • Disability certificate in JPG/JPEG format (if applicable), less than 150 KB in size
  • Scanned copies of the first pages and remaining pages of passports of applicants from remote areas
  • Teaching qualification certificate
  • Pay utility bills

 Applicants for admission to NID  have two preferences for payment of software fees: Online Gateway (debit/credit card) and On-Demand Draft The price to pay is Rs Rs 2000 for regular and OBC-NCL. 1000 for SC/ST/PwD, and Rs 3000 for distance applicants Students who decide to pay at sight must pay the equivalent of "All India Management Association Payable in New Delhi".
NID entry counseling

The NID Admission Technique consists of counseling that involves three steps:

Online consent
Applicants who have passed the Design Aptitude Observation (DAT), Studio Test, and Interview are provided with an online consent form which they must submit within the specified time frame to continue the admissions process The first transcript is mainly generated based on the type of online authority submitted by the candidate.

Upload documents for verification
A tracking technique from the NID Admissions Board is to import certified copies of relevant documents such as 10th and 12th-grade sheets, school leaving certificates, and degree certificates (for M.Dec.) for verification.
