The NIFT focuses on fashion-related design, while the NID teaches other disciplines within the framework of design studies Therefore, the NID admission demand is too high and without proper guidance, getting into this group can be difficult.

The NID registration record is as follows:
The NID Admissions Software form for the school year is available at http://admissions.nid.edu beginning the 4th week of September. Applicants for admission to NID have two preferences for payment of software fees: Online Gateway (debit/credit card) and On-Demand Draft The price to pay is Rs Rs 2000 for regular and OBC-NCL. 1000 for SC/ST/PwD, and Rs 3000 for distance applicants Students who decide to pay at sight must pay the equivalent of "All India Management Association Payable in New Delhi".

Online consent
Applicants who have passed the Design Aptitude Observation (DAT), Studio Test, and Interview are provided with an online consent form which they must submit within the specified time frame to continue the admissions process The first transcript is mainly generated based on the type of online authority submitted by the candidate.
Upload documents for verification
A tracking technique from the NID Admissions Board is to import certified copies of relevant documents such as 10th and 12th-grade sheets, school leaving certificates, and degree certificates (for M.Dec.) for verification.
