Space Design

It integrates and goes beyond the traditional ideas of architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, landscape design, public art, etc. Space Design is a newly emerging design concept and methodology. It is radical because it alters the way a designer views both people and space. It concentrates on the flow of space between the interior and exterior while keeping them at the center of the design. Simply put, the holistic field is what is currently bringing the other architectural and design concepts together.

The factors of space and people are taken into account in more traditional design disciplines like architecture and interior design, but the spatial design takes it to a whole new level. It accomplishes this by incorporating sustainability principles throughout the entire design process. Space location is the main concept that a spatial designer will take into account. The concept of the space being enclosed is at the heart of spatial design. It functions just as well whether there are four walls enclosing them or less defined boundaries, like those found in a township. The new area of research focuses on the movement of space from the interior to the exterior. Additionally, it acknowledges that such flow isn't constant over time. One might leave their home by walking to the curb, taking a taxi to the metro station, boarding the train, and then walking from the station to their place of employment.
