No! There are no negative marking in NATA examination.
NATA, National aptitude test of architecture is an entrance exam which is conducted by National Institute of advanced studies in architecture (NIASA) the body of council of Architecture in India. This entrance exam is a national level examination. Students who are willing to study Bachelor of architecture or some other relevant architecture courses at all recognized institutions across India, can give NATA after their 12th examination.
NATA measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability by 2parted exams.
This year 2022 CoA conducted NATA 3 times. June 12, July 3 and July 24. Where as last year CoA conducted NATA 2 times. Candidates can apply for 1 exam only or can apply for 3 of them.
Each exam will have 2 sessions.
Each exam with 2 session obtain 200 marks with 125 questions.
The aptitude test part of the exam consist multiple choice questions, multiple select questions, Preferential choice questions, numerical answer questions. Among 125 questions, some questions will hold 1,2 or 3 marks.
NATA is an entrance exam to test your general ability, idea and knowledge. So don’t take pressure and give your best mind!
