ABOUT CEED

Common entrance examination for design or popularly known as CEED is a national level entrance examination for candidates who wants to pursue Masters in design from top notch colleges and institutions. CEED is conducted by IIT Bombay to test ability to draw and sketch, logical reasoning along with creative sight of the candidates. 

How to get into CEED

Eligibility criteria

To get into CEED you need to match with their eligibility criteria first. Then only you can sit for the exam. So here is the eligibility criteria-

• Candidates must complete their degree or diploma or PG Degree programme of minimum 3 Years or must be appearing for the final examination of such program. 
• Candidates must have passed the GD Arts diploma programme (10+5 level). 
• CEED has no age limit.

Registration process-

If you think you are eligible according to the eligibility criteria, then only register yourself with CEED exam-
Step1. Open the official website of CEED. 
Step2. Create you own log in ID with the details such as: email ID, name, date of birth, gender, address, and mobile number. Create your own password. 
Step3. Login to that site with registered ID and Password. 
Step4. In log in window you need to fill up the details such as: Qualifying exam, Passing year, Mobile number
Step5. Now start with application form fill up with required details and information. 
Step6. Upload scanned documents such as: photograph, signature, copy of degree or diploma, character certificate, category certificate, PwD certificate, age and nationality proof. 
Step7. Pay the application fees through online. ₹1,800 for Women, ST, SC, PwD candidates and ₹3,600 for other candidates. 
Step8. Successful payment will take you to the confirmation page. Download and print the application form. 

CEED SELECTION PROCEDURE

Selection through CEED entrance exam may vary from college to college. The basic selection procedure is given below-

• candidates have to qualify in CEED exam with the cut off marks of their preferred colleges. The colleges which accept CEED score select candidates on the basis of their performance in CEED exam. 
• after the result is being out the next step is CEED Counselling and selection process. Here the candidates are bring shortlisted. 
• the shortlisted candidates then again have to appear for another design aptitude test and a personal interview round in order to grab the seat at their preferred top colleges.
