Candidates need to meet all the prerequisites set by the National Institute of Construct (NID) to implement for the courses provided at NID Ahmedabad, NID Vijayawada, and NID Kurukshetra.
For Bachelor of Design (B.Des) & Graduate Diploma Programme in Design (GDPD) programs. All the candidate implementation for the B.Des. needs to fulfill the eligibility conditions of both age and education qualification as below,

For Indian Nationals on the whole Type and General EWS Type: Only those candidates born on or later 1 July 2002 are qualified to implement for admission.
For Indian Nationals in Reticent Kind (Other Backward Class-Non Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST): Only those candidates born on or afterward 1 July 1999 are qualified to implement for admission.
For Indian Nationals in PwD Reticent Kind: Only those candidates born on or later than 1 July 1997 are qualified to implement for admission. For Foreign Nationals Abroad, Only those candidates born on or later than 1 July 2002 are qualified for admission.
