The NIFT usually conducts two rounds of interviews.
The official website informs "The NIFT Head Office will coordinate with all Campuses and the Admission process will take place simultaneously at all Campuses of NIFT". Therefore, simultaneous counseling sessions will be held in 17 of the NIFT campuses for admissions in them.
You must note, that the candidate must take part in the various counseling rounds so as to secure and keep a backup as their seats in the colleges accepting NIFT scores as well.
As the candidate qualifies for the NIFT entrance, they must register for the counseling rounds, as per instructions. They must go through the counseling process if they are eager to secure a seat in any of the 17 NIFT Campuses.
The NIFT counseling procedure is also affected by the availability of seats.
There is no registration fee for the first counseling, for the following counseling rounds candidates have to deposit Rs. 5000 as a counseling fee.
