Here are some useful tips to help you get rank 1 in NIFT:
1. Every day, spend 3–4 hours sketching. It doesn't matter what you draw just use your imagination and creativity along with emphasizing some current issues.
2. Get inspiration from other artists, but do not copy, and never compare. Remember everyone has their own skills and talents.
3. Be unique, never copy an idea, even if your creation is different, the examiners are experts, so there is no shortcut. Be creative and unique.
4. Try to practice drawing in one-point, two-point, and three-point perspectives.
5. Study light and shadow, and figure drawing.
6. Solve previous year's papers, sample papers, and take numerous mock tests at different levels of preparation.
7. Practice some fancy fonts
8. Read fashion magazines and blogs.
9. Follow brands and celebrities on insta.
10. Work with the medium you are confident with. Do not go by others' opinions in using oil pastel colors, or colored pencils, use which you can handle the best.
