To be eligible to participate in UCEED 2022, a candidate—including one who is a foreign national—must concurrently meet all three of the following requirements.

If the candidate falls under the OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL category, they must have been born on or after October 1, 1997, and if they fall under the SC, ST, or PwD categories, they must have been born on or after October 1, 1992.

Criteria 2 - Number of Attempts: A candidate may take the UCEED examination a maximum of twice, and only in consecutive years. Keep in mind that the UCEED score is only eligible for admissions during the exact same academic year.

Criteria 3 - Qualifying examination: In order to be eligible to take the UCEED in 2022, a candidate must have passed all of the topics in the qualifying examination (Class XII or equivalent) in 2021 OR must be taking the qualifying examination for the first time in 2022. ALL STREAMS (Science, Business, and Arts & Humanities) students are eligible.

Those who took their qualifying test (Class XII) for the first time in 2020 or earlier are NOT eligible.
