The UID Entrance Exam consists of an offline written test. Candidates who are selected in this admission round must then take a Situation Test and a Portfolio Evaluation Round. Candidates who perform well in all of these rounds are then chosen for admission to UID's design programmes.
The UID DAT written paper includes both multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and subjective questions. The UID entrance exam lasts three hours. MCQs are typically asked in the exam on the following topics:
General Knowledge and IQ Exam
Logical and creative reasoning
Data Interpretation and Analytical Test Quantitative Ability/Numeracy Test
The descriptive-type questions in the UID DAT are designed to assess candidates' abilities in the following areas:

Hand Strength
As part of the UID admissions process, applicants must pass the UID Aptitude Test. Candidates who pass this written exam must then appear in two more rounds, which are:
Round 1 (Situation Test): Students are given situations from which to create models. They are also given some questions to sketch and respond to.
Round 2 (Portfolio Evaluation): During this admission round, candidates must attend personal interviews and bring their portfolios.
On January 30, 2022, the Unitedworld Institute of Design (UID) held the UID DAT 2022 exam. The exam was conducted on paper and consisted of two sections: 1) the Design Aptitude Test and 2) the Situation Test and Portfolio Evaluation (ST-PE). The results of the UID DAT 2022 were announced online.
The DAT consisted of three parts: a general intelligence test, an analytical test, and a creative ability test. Candidates who passed the DAT were invited to take the Situation Test and Portfolio Evaluation in April 2022.
