1. DESIGN OF FASHION

Candidates who complete the course successfully can find excellent jobs in the garment, leather, and jewellery industries as merchandising executives, fashion designers, illustrators, fashion co-coordinators, and so on. Such candidates are also sought after by export houses, textile mills, garment store chains, boutiques, leather companies, jewellery houses, and fashion show organisers.

1. Fashion designers create original designs or adapt fashions to local conditions, trends, and buyers to create new styles and products for clothing, apparel, and accessories. They are in charge of approving final samples before they are put into production.

The designer begins the design process only after conducting extensive market research, i.e., understanding the client's/needs market's in terms of changing trends, budget, and so on. Accessory Designers specialise in creating shoes, bags, scarves, jewellery, ties, and other accessories that complement the look of the garment.

2. Fashion coordinators plan and direct the marketing of fashion clothing for manufacturers, textile companies, and retail stores. It is a highly competitive job with a wide range of responsibilities. They give advice on the latest fashion trends, organise fashion shows, help with advertising (promoting sales), and work with fabric dealers to ensure that the fabric, buttons, and colours are the correct shade, quality, and design. Coordinates may be required to travel widely in order to gain an understanding of fashion trends.

3. Illustrators create free-hand sketches of the designer's concepts. They must not only have exceptional sketching skills, but also excellent communication skills. When a new collection is introduced, the illustrator may be required to converse with customers, which necessitates the ability to interact. 3. APPAREL MARKETING
