The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is a renowned institution for fashion education that constantly develops in order to keep up with the shifting consumer trends. The first fashion education institution in India, NIFT was founded in 1986 and has led the way in supplying skilled labour to the textile and apparel industries through its 16 campuses. The focus has been on teaching students how to apply the fundamental strength of art and culture to the current and vibrant world of fashion.

Yes, the NIFT Delhi offers quality placements and has a dedicated placement cell. Each year, NIFT Delhi holds two rounds of placements from April to June.

Pre-Placement Offers (PPO)

Before the on-campus placement, which is regarded as a job offer, businesses can make students a pre-placement offer. These offers may be based on the internships, training, or projects that the students have completed at the mentioned company. Companies may notify NIFT of such offers made through the moderated Industry Mentor Feedback Form provided by the institute to ensure students offered PPO are not permitted to participate in further placement processes. This is done to ensure equal opportunity for everyone.
