The Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) is a competitive entrance examination for admission to undergraduate design programs offered by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER). The UCEED exam consists of three papers: General Aptitude, Drawing, and Design Thinking & Problem Solving.

The General Aptitude paper tests candidates' ability to understand, analyze, and interpret visual information. It consists of multiple-choice questions that cover a range of topics, including:

  • Visualization and spatial ability
  • Analytical and logical reasoning
  • Environmental and social awareness
  • Language and creativity

The General Aptitude paper is designed to test candidates' general aptitude and ability to think critically and creatively. It is an integral part of the UCEED exam and assesses candidates' potential to succeed in a design program.
