The UCEED 2022 was held on January 23 by the Industrial Design Centre (IDC) at IIT Bombay. There has been a noticeable increase in the number of institutes that will be participating in UCEED 2022. Up until 2021, only four institutions—IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IIITDM Jabalpur—would accept applicants for their Bachelor of Design (BDes) programmes through the UCEED test. But starting in 2022, the IIT Delhi Department of Design will participate in the exam to admit applicants to its BDes programme.
