On January 8, 2023, the National Institute of Design (NID) will hold the NID DAT 2023 Prelims examination. The admission notification for the NID DAT 2023 exam has also been made public and includes important information such as the application deadline, eligibility requirements, and admission timetable.
The DAT Prelims exam will last three hours and be paper-and-pencil only.
The NID 2023 application form is now OPEN. Applicants must submit an online application between October 21 and December 16, 2022.
Sometime in April, the DAT Prelims results will be made public.
Candidates who pass the DAT Prelims must next show up for the DAT Mains, which is anticipated to take place in June.
Around July, NID DAT 2023's final results will be made public.
First stage: NID DAT (Prelims) - A written exam using paper and pencil
NID DAT (Mains) - Written Exam, Stage 2.
Stage 3: Personal Interview and Studio Test
This exam has 67 questions in total, 64 of which are of the objective kind in Section A and 3 of the subjective type in Section B.
The test carries a 100-point weighting overall. The testing medium is paper and pen. English is the primary language of instruction for NID DAT 2023.
Your overall personality will be evaluated in a personal interview by a panel of experts from business and academia based on your general knowledge, extracurricular activities, academic performance, and particular fields of interest.
Throughout the interview, you should keep a positive mindset and a charming demeanour.
All responses must be succinct and concise.
Maintaining eye contact with the interviewers will demonstrate your confidence and knowledge of the questions they are asking you.
Wear classy business attire, and pay close attention to your footwear choice.
