As per the question, there is no negative marking in UCEED rather for each correct answer the candidate will get four marks.
WHAT IS UCEED?
UCEED is the undergraduate common entrance examination for design which is conducted by IIT Bombay for aspirants who want to secure their spot at the prestigious IIT Bombay.
Courses Under UCEED
UCEED is for those candidates who aspire to take admission to the uceed bachelor of design (b. des) from IIT- b, IIT – b, IIT – g, or iitdmj, for those aspirants it’s a must exam.
UCEED Exam Pattern
The Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design -UCEED is an examination conducted for 3 hours. The aspirant has to appear for the exam according to the dates given. All the candidates who are aspiring to apply for the UCEED Exam should aim to obtain good marks to qualify for the exam and ensure their admission in the course of their choice in the prestigious IIT.
Eligibility Criteria For UCEED Examination
- The age limit for all the candidates is different according to the course.
- The General or OBC – NCL category candidates must bear on or in the month of October and year 1992. The SC/ ST/ PWD category candidates must bear on or in the month of October 1997.
- The aspirant must their 10 + 2 class or any equivalent examination in 2023, or they must appear in 2023.
- Candidates who wish to appear in the examination and fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned can attempt only twice in the time period of two consecutive years. Although aspirants need to meet the score criteria in the exams to secure admission to the BDES program.
- The candidates who have appeared for the first time in their Class XII examination in 2023 or earlier are not eligible to appear for the UCEED Exam.
- Aspirants from fields like arts, science, and commerce are also eligible to apply for the UCEED exam.
- Candidates who belong to the science stream and have studied subjects such as physics, chemistry, and Mathematics are eligible to apply at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, and IIITDM Jabalpur. Candidates from any other stream of science without math or physics or chemistry, commerce, and arts and humanities have to only apply at only IIT Bombay and IIITDM Jabalpur.
