Hi Nakshatra! If you have dreamt about being a designer and wanted to pursue your course from top notch IIT institutions you must set out for UCEED. To get UCEED you need to chrck the eligibility criteria first and then only apply for the exam. 

ABOUT UCEED

The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay conduct the national level examination UCEED which stands for Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design, to take admission to the B. Des course at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IIITDM Jabalpur. The admission will occur on the basis of UCEED 2023 scores through the joint seat allocation process. The entrance exam will be conducted in 24 cities across India.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Age limit- for general/ NCL/ OBC candidates, they must be born after 1st October 1998. For ST/ SC/ PwD candidates, they must be born after 1st October 1993.
• Attempt- one candidates can attempts this exam for 2 times in consecutive year. 
• Educational qualification- Candidates should pass their 10+2 examination with any stream from any recognised board.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR UCEED

To crack UCEED 2023, you need to fill up the UCEED form and register yourself for the exam. Here are the steps to register yourself for the exam-
Step1. Candidates can open http://uceed.iitb.ac.in. site and register with their own unique log in ID and password. You will require following details, such as-candidate's name, mobile number, and email address.
Step2. Log in to that site with your own Email ID and password. And you will get to see the application form. 
Step3. Fill up the application form with required details. You will require following details and documents: personal and educational details, scanned images of the photograph and signature.
Step4. Pay the application fees.  For general candidates ₹3600/-, for ST, SC, PwD and female candidates ₹1800/-
Step5. Successful payment will take you to the confirmation page. Download and print out the application form.

Getting admission at colleges Through UCEED

• After registration for UCEED, start preparing for UCEED very well. 
• Checkout the cut off marks of your favourable Institute where you wants study from. 
• If everything is well and good and you got the score you wanted to study in your preferred Institute, apply to that Institute. 
• You will be selected according to your score and rank through the merit list.
