Pearl Academy or known as pearl academy of fashion, is an Indian higher education institution dedicated to fashion studies. This institution was established in the 1993 by the House of Pearl Fashion’s education arm Little People Education Society. Since 1995, this institution offers a validated degree by United Kingdom's Nottingham Trent University to their students. Recently in the year 2019, this institution has been owned by the for-profit education group Global University Systems.
Pearl Academy offers undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma programmes on 40 unique courses in Design, Business and Media streams. This institution is not accredited by UGC or AICTE. They does provide Indian and International degrees to their students from various recognised universities.
Pearl academy has total of five campuses across India. Such are in Mumbai, Jaipur and Bangalore, Jaipur and two in New Delhi, south and west.
Pearl academy organise an entrance examination Thrice a year to select the best eligible candidates who can study at Pearl academy. It’s a national level examination for both Under graduation and post graduation students. Pearl select candidates on the basis of candidate's performance in entrance examination.
This Entrance exam is divided into two part, one is written and one is practical. The written part comprises general proficiency test and Media aptitude test for designing course.
After qualifying the written part candidates have to clear the DAT, personal interview round and the practical part which is studio test.
