ABOUT FDDI

FDDI stands for Footwear Design & Development Institute is a design Institute which offers professional programmes in Footwear Design , Leather Goods & Accessory Design , Fashion Design , and Retail & Fashion Merchandise. FDDI have total 12 campuses all over India. FDDI is not certified by UGC rather it’s a self Governing institution under ministry of commerce & industry. Since 1986, this institution is running successfully with good academic results and offering the best placements to their students in the fields of Footwear, Fashion and leather goods & Retail.

Master degree courses FDDI has-

FDDI offers post graduation courses such as-

1. MASTER OF DESIGN (M. DES) IN FOOTWEAR DESIGN & PRODUCTION (FDP)
2. MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MBA) IN RETAIL & FASHION MERCHANDISE (RFM)

Eligibility criteria for M. des candidates-

• Candidates who are willing to study Masters in Design from FDDI must have graduation degree in relevant subject and from valid university. Final year graduation candidates can also apply, but they need to show their graduation degree or final mark sheet to their admission officer.
• Candidates with the age of 25 year in between 25th June 2023 only, are eligible. 
• Candidate must be an Indian citizen.
• proficiency in English, both written and oral is must which will help them during interview part.
• FDDI conducts a national level entrance examination All India Selection Test (AIST) to offer admission to interested candidates. The examination is known as FDDI AIST. The admission in any courses at FDDI is based on the score of FDDI AIST.
• Quantitative aptitude, English comprehension and analytical ability, general knowledge and current affairs, management aptitude test and analytical ability is the syllabus for FDDI M. des examination. Total number of question is 175. Total marks obtain 200.
• FDDI also take admission on the basis of some other entrance exams such as MAT etc.

IMPORTANT DATES FIR FDDI AIST 2023 (TENTATIVE) 

• Application will start on the first week of February 2023 
• Application will end on the last week of April 2023
• Admit card will be given on the first week of June 2023
• Exam will  be start on the second week of June 2023
• Merit list will be release on the last week of June 2023
• Counselling will be occur on the first week of July 2023
