At IIT Bombay, applicants are qualified for B.Des admissions based on the UCEED score they received. Before selecting a candidate for admission, the inclinations of the institute they listed are also taken into consideration. Candidates are not given consideration for admittance to the institute if they have not achieved the intermediate qualifying exam. Additionally, a person's probability of acquiring the course as well as the institute of their choice increase with higher UCEED scores.
The institute holds three rounds of seat distribution for B.Des students. The institute ends the admissions process once all of the available seats have been filled. A preliminary letter for admission is sent to the registered email address of candidates who were chosen during the seat allocation process.
