Hi Mahika! There is not CAT or GAT kind of exam at MIT entrance. MIT entrance exam has basically 2 types of test, one is written and one is creativity test. Lets see what’s in that.
MIT University Meghalaya, under MIT Group of Institutes Pune, provides quality education in the field of design. It offers programmes in the field of Designing. MIT – ID conducts the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) in collaboration with Avantika University for all the eligible candidates who want to take admission into various under graduation and post graduation Design programmes in both of the universities or institution.
MIT Institute of Design (MITID) conducts MIT Design Aptitude Test (MIT DAT) every year for admission into its various Under graduation and post graduation programmes. MITID DAT is a national level entrance exam conducted in both Offline and Online Mode at various test centres all over India.
A candidate needs to register for MIT DAT which is the written part of the exam to test knowledge about design and crack it with above cut off marks.
If they are being shortlisted, then they can attend the Studio Test and Personal Interview process conducted by respective of these institute and university individually. This part is basically drives to know about candidate's creative ability.
MITID DAT will consist 2 types of test which is subjective and another in objective.
