There are list of national level exams conducted to take admission of candidates who are talented and willing to pursue B. Arch degree or bachelor of architecture degree. B. Arch exams and their age eligibility criteria are:
- NATA- National Aptitude Test In Architecture is a national level entrance exam conducted by council of architecture for admission to 5 years B. arch degree course at various institutions in India. There is no age eligibility criteria for NATA mentioned by CoA in particular. But the candidates who are willing to give NATA must have completed their 10+2 examination or 10+3 degree from any recognized board with mandatory subjects such as physics, chemistry and mathematics.
- JEE- MAIN- Joint Entrance Exam – Main is an national level all India exam conducted by NTA to take admission of the candidates who are willing to pursue architecture as well as various courses of engineering. There are also no age limit to sit for JEE- MAIN. Candidates must complete their 10+2 examination with mandatory subjects mathematics, physics and chemistry from any recognized board.
- HITSEEE- Hindustan Institute Of Technology And Science Engineering Entrance Exam is an university level entrance examination conducted by Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science once a year. This Institute offers courses such as B. Tech and B. Arch. There is an age limit for HITSEEE indeed. The candidates who are willing to apply for HITSEEE should have reached at least 17 years of age when they are filling the application form.
- CEED- Common Entrance Examination for Design (post graduation in design) is an all India joint entrance exam for post-graduate studies in the field of technological design held annually jointly at all it’s the conducting body of CEED is IIT Bombay. The candidates willing to pursue M. Arch from IIT can apply for CEED. There is no age limit for CEED but It is mandatory to be graduate in Engineering or Architecture stream only. Candidates have to pass their qualifying degree with a minimum 60% marks.
- AAT- Architecture Aptitude Test is an national level entrance examination Conducted by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur and Roorkee. This exam is for the candidates who are willing to take admissions to the B. Arch programme offered by the IIT Kharagpur, IIT Varanasi and IIT Roorkee. There is an age limit for AAT 2023. This limit changes every year. The candidates must be the age of minimum 17 years old as on December 31, 2023. No upper age limit.
