What is UID? 

United world institute of Design is one of the premier Design Institutes among India. UID under Karnavati University offers B. Des and M. Des courses. For persuasion of these course UID conduct a Design Aptitude Test every year. This examination comprises of General IQ Test, Analytical Test and Creative ability. After qualifying Design Aptitude test, candidates have to go through situation test and portfolio evaluation. UID select their candidates on the basis of their performance in UID aptitude test. 

How to apply for UID 

One and only way to get in UID with B. Des or M. Des whatever you want is you need to be eligible first. 

Eligibility for B. Des

• You must have completed Class 12, higher secondary education with minimum 50% aggregate score in any stream, from any recognised higher secondary school board.
• Crack Design Aptitude Test for both Tier 1 and Tier 2 conduct by UID themselves for admission.

Eligibility for M. Des

• You need Minimum 50% score in 10+2+3/4 pass or appearing in bachelor’s degree exam from any recognised Institution or University.
• You have to clear the Design Aptitude Test both Tier 1 and Tier 2 with good merit for admission.

So first of all you have to apply for UID DAT. 

Application process to UID

Step 1: Candidate must go to the official website and first register themselves. 
Step 2:  If they already have an account on UID site, they must log in or must click on the appropriate option.
Step 3: Candidates must enter their name, email address, mobile number, etc. 
Step 4: Candidates must verify their email address. Now, the candidate shall log in using the same and apply for the program.
Step 5: In the last step, the candidates must make their payment of the application.
Step 6: download and print out the application form
Step7: download admit card from the notification of given dates. 
Step8: appear for UID DAT 1 round which is written part. 
Step9: wait for the result, if you crack a good score, you are eligible for the nest round which consist situation test and portfolio evaluation. 
Step10: download admit card for the next round and appear in situation test and portfolio evaluation with a great collection of you work in your portfolio. Don’t forget to bring the admit card. 
Step11: wait for the result! If eligible, you are ready for counselling and admission.
